Technology
Rite Way has always been on the cutting edge of facility services and stays up on the latest trends in an effort to offer our customers the latest products and innovations. Our research has found equipment, techniques, and performing quality assurance can be improved via technology. Our on-site managers typically have the latest equipment, tools, and computers to ensure quality work.
Equipment
While we understand our role takes our customers out of the cleaning business, allow us to give you an example of technological advances in equipment. We began using flat microfiber mops instead of straw brooms and cotton mops years ago. One of the major advantages of microfiber mops is that they have flat heads, and poles that swivel and can reach into corners and under furniture. Most microfiber flat mop hardware flattens down to about 1″ off of the ground, and swivels 360 degrees.
Techniques
Green Cleaning is one example of how technology has changed cleaning techniques in recent years. Portion controlled chemicals mix with smaller amounts of water thereby reducing waste, runoff, and supplies expenses. Additionally, vacuums have become quieter without sacrificing effectiveness that allows for Day Cleaning in certain situations. These are just a couple of examples of technology improving cleaning technique.
Web-based Quality Assurance
Rite Way utilizes an electronic control system as part of our Quality Assurance Program. This is a web-based system allowing our supervisors and managers to inspect the work of our cleaners and upload the inspection results into our system. Once the inspection results have been loaded into the system, any authorized user can access valuable information including Quality Inspection Reports, Deficiency Reports and Trend Analysis. We can view, track, and see the resolutions from any online computer.
Our inspection software allows Rite Way to load very detailed site specific data including specific area names. Areas can be customized as necessary. This site specific data can then be loaded onto our inspectors’ handheld devices to allow for inspections to be conducted at any time. Quality Reports analyze data and display information relating to the inspected areas. Each area, type, item, or cluster, can be analyzed as a subset as well. Data can be sorted and then emailed as necessary. The software also allows highly customized reports important to customers’ unique needs. Our Quality Trend reports allow us to view trends relating to a period of time. Whether it’s daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, we can compare past reports to present status to identify trends. This allows Rite Way to act upon data as a means to continually improve processes and offer the highest service available. Rite Way’s continual inspection process helps us ensure that our customers remain satisfied.
